RESOLVED – That Item 7 ‘To consider an appeal against the decision of the Chief Fire Officer to dismiss a Crew Manager’ be considered in the absence of the public and press.

RESOLVED – That, under Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business, on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, and the public interest not to disclose information outweighs the public interest in disclosing it.

To consider an appeal against the decision of the Chief Fire Officer to dismiss a Crew Manager

The Appeals Committee having considered the submissions of both parties, unanimously agreed to uphold the Appeal.

 

RESOLVED – That the Appeals Committee unanimously agreed to reinstate Firefighter ST.
