RESOLVED – That agenda item 7 ‘Application Under Stage Two of the Pensions Act 1995, Section 50(2)(b)’ be considered in the absence of the public and press.

Application Under Stage Two of the Pensions Act 1995, Section 50(2)(b)

Minutes:

The Appeals Committee met to consider an application under Stage 2 of the Internal Dispute Resolution Procedure (IDRP), which requested the Appeals Committee to reconsider a disagreement in respect of a decision made under Section 50(2)(a) of the Pensions Act 1995.  

 

The Appeals Committee were requested to note that the Stage 2 Appeal was being presented following the Applicants IDRP Stage 1 dispute, as determined by the Chief Fire Officer in the notice of decision dated 22 June 2016. 

 

RESOLVED – That after careful consideration of all aspects of the case, the Appeals Committee agreed that the Authority implement Section 9 (iii) of the Review of Injury Awards Policy and withdraw the Applicant from the process in its entirety.
